Mom said it was ok for us to do a blog post today for Father’s Day. We wanted to take the time to say thank you for everything you do for us. I (Henry) have a few more things to thank you for, but that’s only because I’ve been alive longer but Freddy says everything is pretty much mutual. So without further ado, here’s what we’re thankful for.
Thanks for teaching me the importance of my heritage, even if we only celebrate it once a year in March
Thanks for helping reach for certain items I can’t reach
thanks for introducing me to new food experiences.
thanks for teaching me to leave no stone unturned, especially at Easter
Thanks for showing me how neat nature can be.
Thanks for teaching me how to put in a good day of hard work.
Thank you for reading the same books to me over and over even if you hate them.
Thanks for officially introducing us.
Thanks for helping me balance the fragile things in life
Thanks for showing me that my age and size should not be considered a obstacle. I can walk as soon as I want to walk.
Thanks for letting me rest my weary head
thanks for keeping us close when we feel cruddy
thanks for teaching me the importance of books, even non picture ones.
Thanks for shielding me from the paparazzi when I don’t look my best.
Thanks for the enlightening conversations.
Thanks for pulling over and getting me fries.
Thanks for including me in your hobbies.
Thanks for teaching us to measure twice, cut once. And how to swear creatively when the screw falls behind the toy storage unit.
There are plenty more things we are thankful for, but mom isn’t quick enough with the camera to capture all the stuff you do for us. We love you very much!
