Welcome to Henry’s 2nd birthday party. Come join us under the Big Top to see what took place during the festivities. I’d be amiss without saying a great big thank you to my coworker Jen who lent us the “big ticket item” for this party. I mean, a circus wouldn’t be complete without a bouncy castle right? Turns out only the younger kids were brave enough to go in, but boy did they have a blast playing in there. Anywho, on with the pictures!
Party favours for the kids. Popcorn bowls filled with animal cracker pouches and a zebra/horse pen.
Henry helping us prepare by testing the goods.
Different kinds of popcorn were served for those of discerning tastes.
Our own big top decor.
Chris preparing hot dogs for 20 something people. So many hot dogs….
quick self shot before the craziness of the party.
Let’s get this party started mom!
Henry and Luis enjoying the bouncy castle. Luis just ran right in the second it was done blowing up.
Henry playing shy with his cousin Logan.
Not so shy anymore.
The circus changed to wrestle mania with Niko refereeing.
Henry’s cousin Josie. She’s become such a delightful conversationalist. I was able to have lunch with her and discuss her upcoming trip to France.
Little Greta was there as well. I can’t count how many times Henry almost ran her over with his new toy ATV. She’s a tough cookie though and stood her own.
Everyone singing Happy Birthday. It took a few kids to try and blow out the candle. Luckily Luis’ dad Doug saved the day and blew them out.
The party aftermath. While Henry slept off his afternoon, we cleaned and cleaned some more.
The party was a great success and we’re very thankful for everyone who came and participated in our little guy’s second birthday party. Henry was spoiled rotten. We might have to do something smaller for next year, or move into a bigger house!
