Henry slept in his own room last night for the first time. I think it was harder on me than on him. We had a pretty good night though. He woke up at 1am then at 5am. The best night in a while (aside from that night after the osteopath visit). Hindsight being 20/20 and all, we should have done this earlier. I think I figured out why he kept waking up every 90 minutes or so. When people sleep there’s deep sleep and light sleep. Well I’m convinced when Henry would cycle to light sleep, the movement from the play pen would wake him up completely, and since he was up, he might as well eat. He was still sleeping in the top level of the play pen, the one that is held on by hooks and kind of sways with every movement. I think Chris and I slept better too, although I had a hard time falling asleep at first and I’ll admit I cried a little that my little guy was going through another milestone. I couldn’t stop picturing him driving off to college and Green Day’s “Time of Your Life” was playing over and over in my mind. Yes, I’m a bit of a drama queen.
Yesterday was also our last Baby Sensory class. What a great class for babies. I’m totally going to sign up again in the fall.

Checking out his girlfriend on the mat next to us. Henry's lying on a quilt my grandmother made for me when I was a baby.

Ginger spent about 30 minutes yesterday just starring at a space where these two chipmunks had run through. I told her they'd probably not come back that way but she didn't believe me.
Oh and we put together a little mafioso outfit for Henry the other day. Not the snazzy mafioso. The tank top/sweat pant wearing mafioso. I think Henry pulls off the look pretty well:
lol.. Oooooh Ginger.. too cute!
